ICER's mission is to lead innovation in comparative effectiveness research through methods that integrate considerations of clinical benefit and economic value.  Through a unique collaboration with patients, clinicians, manufacturers, insurers and other healthcare stakeholders, ICER develops tools to support patient decisions and medical policy that share the goal of achieving maximum value for every healthcare dollar.

ICER to participate in update of CCTA Appropriateness Criteria report

Dr. Steve Pearson has been nominated by the American College of Cardiology to serve on the Writing Group for the upcoming update of the Appropriate Use Criteria for Cardiac Computed Tomography.  As part of the writing group, Dr. Pearson will work with the American College of Cardiology Foundation Appropriate Use Criteria Task Force to completely update and reconsider ratings from the previously published criteria to reflect the latest research and developments in Cardiac Computed Tomography.
