The Center for Medical Technology Policy led a meeting titled "Improving Evidence for Decision Making about Cardiac Diagnostic Imaging Technologies" on October 20, 2008, in Baltimore, MD. The meeting was co-hosted by ICER, American College of Cardiology, Society for Cardiac Computed Tomography, American College of Radiology, and North American Society for Cardiac Imaging.
The purpose of the meeting was to identify methods and strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of evidence development on the clinical utility and incremental value of emerging cardiac imaging technologies. Dr. Pearson presented the ICER EBM Roadmap. |
