In the October 2010 issue of Health Affairs, ICER's President, Steven Pearson, and Peter Bach of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, propose a new paradigm, based on comparative effectiveness research, for deciding on coverage and reimbursement in the Medicare program.
